Cambridge thrash Coventry 12-0

Cambridge comfortably defeated Coventry 12-0 to remain unbeaten in the BUCS season.
At no. 1 doubles, captain Tim Prossor and Neil Cordon were too solid for their opponents winning 6-2, 6-3. Similarly, at no. 2 doubles, Gerald Wu and Vasya Kusmartsev took some time to find their timing on service returns, but came through safely 6-3, 6-1.
At no. 1 singles, Tim Prossor overcame a sluggish first set loss to finish strongly and win with 3-6, 6-0, 6-2. Neil Cordon made a mockery of his opponent’s complaints about his line calls to easily win 6-2, 6-0.
At no. 3 singles, Gerald Wu put in a strong serving performance at crucial moments to win 6-3, 6-4 against his big-serving opponent. Alex Cole wrapped up the tie by dispatching his opponent 6-2, 6-0 in under an hour.
