Filip is in his second year reading Economics at Corpus Christi College. He started playing tennis at the age of 9 and played competitively for 3 or 4 years in national and regional tournaments. Subsequently, he retired and trained at a local club, entering regional amateur tournaments and leagues from time to time. He is currently the tennis captain for Corpus Christi.
