Max is a 2nd year PhD student in aeronautical engineering at Pembroke. Having spent many summers of his youth career perfecting his clay and grass court technique, his first taste of “fast” surfaces was in October 2019 at Fenners, when he made a breakthrough into the men’s M4/M5 after a six year hiatus from the sport. Never one to slack off, he is currently on an extended training camp in his native Belgium, and looks forward to getting some grass on Oxford’s whites.
